Personal Statement: 
Darren McDaniel is a strategist, sociologist, educator, entrepreneur, and hat-juggling creative — a deliberate idealist. Darren is the Founding Director of Orlando's Urban ReThink, a community hub geared to empower independent professionals and stimulate collaborative minds. By creating a model where seemingly disparate groups and ideas collide and collaborate in new ways, Darren seeks to incite purposeful action, economic growth and community evolution. In addition to his work helming Urban ReThink, Darren is a professor of Digital Storytelling at Full Sail University.
