Burrow Press recently released a new book, Wally, a novella by Don Peteroy. While Peteroy is from Cincinnati, Burrow put to work talented locals on book design (Tina Holmes), cover art (Brian Phillips), and this snazzy book trailer (Jared Silvia).
At Urban ReThink on Saturday, November 3rd at 7 pm, you can meet the author at his release party, which also happens to be the launch of the new reading series, Functionally Literate: a literary function. Developed by Burrow Press and The Kerouac Project, Functionally Literate is a quarterly-ish reading series that aims to connect, entertain, and possibly intoxicate, Orlando's larger community of writers, bookworms, lit nerds, and the intellectually curious. Each event features one visiting writer, and three talented locals from all over the Central Florida lit community. CLICK HERE for more details.
