Story Threads

As UR's tapestry of people and experiences begins to take shape, we find that we are defined as much by our stories as by our offerings.  We invite you to share your stories.  Here's one of ours...

Friday afternoon, our new friend, Alex, was enjoying an end-of-the-day sangria with several members of the Urban ReThink crew.  Alex is a coworker, and he became a coworker after discovering the space during one of our cultural events, the Ghanaian drumming performance of Kombat Fuzzy.  (Programming --> Coworking --> Socializing)

What brought Kombat Fuzzy to UR?  The event stemmed from programming committee stalwart Pat Greene inviting Dr. Julian Chambliss to a committee meeting.  Julian suggested the opportunity through a connection to Rollins.  Weave in the Orlando Weekly--the source through which Alex discovered the event as well as the publishers of a column describing the night it was generated.

Much like our ribbon project, the threads begun by Alex, Julian, and others continue to tie and to grow, turning potential into possibility.
